Jalappa Law College, established in the year 2024, is a constituent unit of Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust, Tamaka, Kolar. The institution was founded in fulfillment of the visionary dream of Late Shri R. L. Jalappa, former Union Minister, who aspired to establish a law college in Doddaballapura to make legal education accessible to the underprivileged, downtrodden, and backward class students who are otherwise deprived of opportunities in the field of law.
The College is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, recognized by the Bar Council of India, and approved by the Government of Karnataka, ensuring compliance with statutory and academic standards.
